The PotterHead Family

This is not a solely personal blog. Yes, I do love Harry Potter with all my heart, but this is a place where all other people who love Harry can come together and not only enjoy the pictures and everything else going on, but also publish their work on Harry.

So, if you have written something or would like to write something about Harry Potter (a poem, how it had affected you, how you grew up with it), just send the work to me in an email and I will gladly post it. Even if it is simply a picture or drawing you think should be added in one of the tabs, do not hesitate to let me know.

For any contribution, contact me at stupefiedgeneration@gmail.com.

Join in and Enjoy the fun!

Harry Potter and I

This past week, I have had the urge to do a Harry Potter marathon. So I watched all the movies, and while I was doing that, looked on Pinterest for any Harry Potter-related humor. Looking at all the different pictures, I decided I was going to create a new page on my personal blog for a tribute to Harry Potter. But then the more I pinned, the more I realize that I have so many different categories of the series to pin about that one page just was not going to be enough. I was pondering on how to make it all work, when it occurred to me that I could just create a new blog for HP, and have all the categories of pictures that I wanted. There stemmed the idea of creating STUPEFIED: The Harry Potter Generation!

Harry Potter and I go way back. My first memory of Harry Potter was me and my dad going to the movies to watch Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. I was about five or six. I have been in love with the whole wizarding world ever since. I think that it is the reason my favorite movie genre is Supernatural, Magic and Superpowers! Back then, my favorite character was Hagrid: I was small and he was just so big! (And to all those who think he does not get enough credit amongst us fans, I am with you!).

In the following years, when my dad would travel and ask what he should bring me, I would just tell him to get me some Harry Potter books and movies. Three or four summers ago, when I read Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince for the first time, I spent three consecutive days on my bed, barely getting up to eat and shower. I remember having everyone asking me when I would leave the room! And they could not understand the fact that when I finally left the room, I was in tears because Snape had killed Dumbledore.

My Harry Potter passion dimmed for a few years while I was expanding my horizons, but once a Potterhead, always a Potterhead so I am BACK! This week I re-watched all the movies (I am typing this while I am half-way through the Deathly Hollows part 2) and in the upcoming month I will re-read all the books - probably best to wait after the SATs though!

This blog is my little Harry Potter tribute and haven, and everyone who is part of the PotterHead family is welcome to join!
